History: The brightest spot on the 1963 Washinton Husky baseball squad was Junior Shortstop Les Uyehara, who led the team in batting with a .388 batting average. He also led the team in Home Runs with 3. The most famous alum to don a Husky uniform was Tim "The Freak" Lincecum who won the 2006 Golden Spikes Award as the best amateur player in the US. He also went on to win two NL Cy Young awards. The Washington Huskies are currently members of the Pac-12 Conference and play their home games on Chaffey Field at Husky Ballpark, Seattle, Washington.
