History: College football royalty can be found in the "Trophy" case of Penn Football History; John Heisman, namesake of the Heisman Trophy for best College Player in the country, along with John Outland, namesake of the Outland Trophy for best Lineman in the country, and "Concrete Charlie" Bednarik, namesake of the Chuck Bednarik Award for best College Defensive player of the year, ALL wore the trademark navy & red striped sleeves as players on the Penn Quakers football team. The Penn Quakers have been members of the Ivy League since 1956 (Winning 18 titles along the way) and play their home games at historic Franklin Field (oldest football stadium in the USA), Philadelphia, PA.
