History: Since the UCF Knights officially began play in 1973, they have won 5 regular season conference championships, 6 Tournament Championships and have appeared in the NCAA Tournament 12 times. Head Coach Jay Bergman was at the helm for 26 of those seasons from 1983-2008, compiling an impressive record of 994-594-3. The Knights of today play their home games at John Euliano Park, formerly Jay Bergman Field in Orlando, Florida.
