History: The East Texans swept Austin four games to none in the BSL post-season playoffs. Pitcher Gale Pringle led the league in strikeouts and ERA. Pringle went on to pitch a perfect game for Tyler in 1954 against the Temple Eagles.

Lot’s of fun memories from when I spent the summer of 1952 watching baseball in Tyler. I still have score cards, ticket stubs, etc.
