History: We always love an 8-panel cap, and this 1938 Toledo hat doesn’t disappoint. Manager Fred Haney fielded a competitive club in ’38, but a youngster named Ted Williams tore up the league as a rookie with the Minneapolis Millers. Despite the sensation the new kid cased, it was the Millers’ crosstown rivals St. Paul who ended up on top of the league standings, although the Kansas City Blues won the playoffs. Toledo finished twelve games off the pace.
