History: The Saints played their home games at Lexington Park. The team had a fierce rivalry with the Minneapolis Millers until the arrival of the Washington Senators (renamed the Twins) in 1961. Hall of Famers who played for the Saints include Duke Snider, Roy Campanella, Leo Durocher, and Lefty Gomez. Walter Alston managed the club in 1948-49.
