History: The long history of pro ball in Spokane goes back to 1901 with the Spokane Blue Stockings of the Pacific Northwest League, who became the Smoke Eaters in 1902. The name Indians was first adopted in 1903 when they were part of the Pacific National League. This jersey has the vertical lettering style popular at the time, along with a great felt sleeve patch.
