History: Although the Seals had a disappointing 81-106 record, the 1933 season was remembered for something else: The appearance of a young shortstop (at that time) named Joe DiMaggio. The future Yankee Clipper joined brother Vince on the Seals squad, and set the PCL record with a 61-game hitting streak. Although the Seals actually wore an unadorned cap in '33, we've "helped" history a little bit by applying the road uniform "SF" to the cap in felt.
