History: Defensive back Marv Woodson played 6 years for the Pittsburgh Steelers from 1964-1969. His best season came in 1967 as he registered 7 interceptions and 2 fumble recoveries which landed him a spot in the Pro Bowl.
1967 also marked the second and last season in which the Steelers wore the "Batman" style jersey featured here. The players felt as if the diamond shape around the neck appeared as if they were wearing capes which they did not like, and apparently management agreed and the look was shelved after the 1968 pre-season.
