History: We found a color picture of this rare Stars jersey while combing through our archives recently. Based on the style we believe it was worn close to the club's founding in 1933. Promoter Ed Bolden formerly owned the Hilldale team before establishing the Stars, who were independent for one year before moving to the Negro National League.
