History: Phillies fans might protest at our choice for their team, but the rare appearance of green for team colors in 1910 made this cap irresistible to us. The Phillies have been known by that name since 1883, and their home park in 1910 (and until they moved into Shibe Park in 1952) was the Baker Bowl. New Phillies owner Horace Fogel chose green as his team’s official color to match the paint color on the rebuilt ballpark. Although the actual cap was devoid of a logo, we’ve added the fancy green “P” from the jersey. Kelly green soutache is sewn between the panels.
