History: After the ABL's San Francisco Saints were nudged out of the City by the arrival of the Philadelphia Warriors, the team moved across the Bay and rechristened themselves the Oakland Oaks, playing in the old Oakland Auditorium (now the Kaiser Convention Center). A team with an identical name and logo was a founding member of the ABA in 1967.
