History: The Oaks wore this simple felt Oak leaf patch for only the first part of the 1939 season, after which they switched to a more ornate design. The East Bay entry in the PCL played in Oaks park in Emeryville. The "Acorns" won flags in 1912, 1948 and 1950. Smead Jolley strolled right field for the Oaks in the Thirties. The great Lefty O'Doul managed the last Oaks club in 1955.
