History: Starting in the early 1960s minor league clubs started to hew much more closely to their major league affiliates in terms of nicknames and graphics. The Memphis Blues adapted the Mets' sleeve patch and added a musical note behind it. John Antonelli managed Memphis to an Eastern Division title, and future Mets star John Milner was named to the league all-star team.
