History: The Loyola University Baseball Program began in 1892. At the time, the school was known as St. Vincent's College. By the early 1900's, the Lions had sent four graduates to the Major Leagues with the first in school history being Fred Snodgrass. Snodgrass spent nine years in the Bigs with the New York Giants and Boston Braves. The Loyola Marymount Lions Baseball team are currently members of the West Coast Conference and play their home games at George C. Page Stadium, Los Angeles, CA.
