History: From the 1957 LSU Gumbo Yearbook: During his two years as football coach at the Ole War Skule, Paul Dietzel has produced hard-hitting, hustling football teams while laying a foundation for championship teams in future years" After a combined record of 11-17 between 1955-1957, the editor's premonition became reality as the Tigers went 11-0 in 1958 capturing their second National Championship in school history. The LSU Tigers are currently members of the South Eastern Conference (SEC) Western Division and play their home games in Tiger Stadium, better known as Death Valley, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Geaux Tigers!
Please note: Within the wool yarns, there may be some slight color variations. This is an inherent trait of the authentic wool we use. This should not be considered a flaw, but like the original garment, merely part of its charm.
