League: Kitty League
History: There were several incarnations of the Kentucky-Illinois-Tennessee League. In the mid-1930s it was a Class D League with six clubs (hence “the six lives league”). The Jackson Generals won the regular season pennant in ’35 with a 50-42 record. Normally, the first and second half winners would face each other for the league title, but Jackson was disqualified due to violations of the veteran player limit, and Lexington refused to meet Portageville in the playoffs because they contended that Portageville was not the true second-half champion.

Garment was as described. Quality was excellent, as was the imprinted logo and script. Garment has proven durable and is an eye catching conversation starter. Excellent way to preserve baseball history.
Great retro shirt!
