History: Although only going 12-12 for Jacksonville, 1966 turned out to be Tom Seaver’s only year in the minors, as the New York Mets called him up for the 1967 season. (He did hit .254 for the Suns – not bad for a pitcher). Within a couple of years, Seaver would become one of the most dominating pitchers in the majors, and was a big factor in turning the perennial cellar-dwelling Mets into World Champions in 1969.

Jacksonville Suns Cap
My cousin was the trainer for the Suns in the mid 60's. And though I wish you had the 63 Columbia blue and orange cap, this is spot on. Much better than the Mitchell and Ness Suns jersey that came in Royal and Red.
This is my second Ebbets hat. I have an old rainiest hat and I love it. This new one is a little different cut but still fits well and feels cozy. I love them because they breath and don’t make me sweat a bunch. I live in LA and sometimes these kinds of hats can be hot.
Happy funny face
