History: The Indianapolis Clowns began as a barnstorming team known for their pre-game entertainment as much as for their ball skills. Once they joined the Negro American League they focused on baseball and won the NAL title in 1950. The Clowns are best known for three signings: the great women players Toni Stone and Connie Morgan and a raw youngster named Henry Aaron.

My most recent purchase made my second and third jerseys from EFF. I love these jerseys so much I just wish I wasn't so afraid to wear them. They are so brilliantly crafted it is amazing that they were just produced and not actually from a much different era. I originally bought the 1945 Jackie Robinson KC Monarchs, and have had the itch to own more ever since. Just received 1946 H.D. Murphy Oregon Ducks and the 1945 Hank Aaron Indianapolis Clowns, and I am nowhere near done. Spendy, sure, but waaaayyyy worth it. I couldn't be more proud to show them off! Gotta get them before all of the vintage flannel is gone forever.
