House Of David 1936 Road Jersey
History: The whiskered House of David club was America's most successful travelling baseball outfit, logging thousands of miles each year. The team was comprised of players who were members of a charismatic religious sect based in Benton Harbor, Michigan. Rules of the organization included celibacy and the requirement that men keep their beards. At the height of their popularity, their were numerous touring clubs claiming to be "House of David" teams, including a Black House of David team.
