History: Hiroshima established a professional baseball team as part of the city's reconstruction efforts after the atomic bomb devastation in 1945. The Carp ("Koi" in Japanese) were perennially underfunded, and were so poor that in 1953 they could only afford to issue one uniform per player. The Carp played in Hiroshima Municipal Stadium until 2008.

It’s hard to explain until you actually hold one of these in your hand the quality feel of the materials and the detailed construction. It almost feels custom-made. The customer service, too, was excellent. I had to do an exchange, and communication was quick and thorough.
I love it. Great fit.
I love this hat. The leather sweatband took a little getting used to but I like it way more that a standard now. It has a low crown, perfect! And the soft bill is actually pretty cool.
Great cap, great fabric, love the eight panel soft brim design, with leather sweatband. The leather is thinner than some of my earlier caps from Ebbetsfieldflannels, but still a great cap. Love the Hiroshima Carp logo. Soft brim caps are my favorites, so keep up the good work.
This ain't your every day nylon snapback. Feels made-to-order by a skilled tailor. A tribute to a bygone era of bespoke, high-quality goods, both in form and craft.
