Hartford Chiefs 1951 Vintage Ballcap

$44.00 $49.00

History: Hartford spent many years as a Braves affiliate, being geographically close to their original home of Boston. The 1951 club featured Bob Verrier, who hit a league-leading .323, and pitcher Gene Conley. Conley has the distinction of being the last player to have played for both the Boston Braves and Red Sox, and who also won major league championships on teams from two different sports, the (then Milwaukee) Braves in 1957 and the Boston Celtics three times from 1959 to 1961.
