History: Until the iconic coaching legend Vince Lombardi came on the scene in 1959 to turn things around, the 1950's were not very kind to the men of the "Frozen Tundra." The Pack did not have one winning season from 1950-1958 in which their record was a woeful 32-74-2. With a young Bart Starr and Paul "The Golden Boy" Hornung being guided by Lombardi, the 1959 team finished 7-5 and the rest as they say is TITLETOWN USA! Green Bay won 5 NFL Championships including the first 2 Super Bowl titles during the Lombardi era. The Green Bay Packers are currently members of the NFC Northern Division and play their home games in Lambeau Field, Green Bay, Wisconsin.
