History: Verne Lewellen was a 4x-first team-All Pro and a driving offensive and defensive force for 3 straight Green Bay Packers Championship teams (1929, 1930, 1931). After a successful 9 year career on the field, Lewellen went on to serve as the Packers General Manager from 1954-1958. He is a member of the Wisconsin Athletic Hall of Fame and the Packers Hall of Fame.
