History: The 1931 season marked the last for Head Coach Robert "Kid" Clay who had an impressive 11-year record of 147-99-5. Clay won three conference championships for Georgia Tech and coached eight future Major Leaguers. Future legendary football Coach Bobby Dodd took over the reins for the Yellow Jackets baseball team in 1932. The Yellow Jackets of today play their home games at Russ Chandler Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia.
