Product Details
History: The Sun Kings began their existence in the Class D Sophomore League in 1961. A young Jose Cardenal hit 35 homers in a 130-game schedule to lead the league. In 1965 (now in the Texas League), the club affiliated with the California Angels. Sun King Kurt Russell was leading the league in 1973 when he injured his rotator cuff, and after a stint as a DH for his dad's independent Portland Mavericks, decided that acting was a better career choice.
