History: Chicagoan Jack Keeshin created the Chicago Rockets football club after he was unsuccessful in his effort to purchase the White Sox. Playing in Soldier Field, the team had an uphill battle competing with the NFL's Bears and Chicago Cardinals. The team name was changed to Hornets for their last season in 1949.
Please note: Within the wool yarns, there may be small striations within the fabric. This is an inherent trait of the authentic wool we use. Thus there may be some slight color variations. This should not be considered a flaw, but merely part of it's charm.
