History: The Butte Colored Giants were trailblazers in that years before Jackie Robinson broke the organized baseball “color barrier” they joined otherwise all-white leagues. In 1922 and ’23, they topped five clubs to win the Butte Independent League championship, and in 1935 they competed as the only black club in the Montana State League, which while not a member of the organized baseball structure, was the highest level of baseball in Montana.

This was the 6th cap I've ordered from EFF. All of the others reflect my city (NY), or one of my initials (T or D), and are all a shade of blue. This one had a great logo, reminiscent of a peace symbol. That it's from a ***** League team was an extra bonus. I love the heavy wool of these caps, so I had to add this one to my collection. I love the workmanship of EFF apparel, so they have a fan for life.
