History: A parallel league to the AAGPBL, the National Girls Baseball League was founded in 1944 by Ed Kolski and Charley Bidwill, owner of the Chicago Cardinals football team. In fact, many players bounced back and forth between the two leagues. To gain a competitive advantage, the National League paid better than the AAGPBL, plus they offered an easier road game playing schedule. Technically fast pitch underhand, the National Girls were all about the game, not dress code, chaperones or charm schooling. Just hard & fast ball play. Based in Chicago, playing for 11 seasons, they regularly drew crowds of over 500,000 fans each year. Teams were Rock-Ola ,Music Maids, Brach’s Kandy Kids, Blue Birds, Queens, Bloomer Girls, Chicks.

very good quality
I love my Rock Ola Satin jacket. It fits true to size and the quality is amazing. I can't wait for the weather to turn a bit colder so I can wear it!
dopest MFer on the block
I'm not even going to get into how completely crazy it is to have a satin jacket backed with a jukebox/pinball machine company, because I think we can respect that for what it is. What's more important is the unbelievable quality of the work. The satin is REAL -- no thin polyester nonsense -- and the stitching and seam work on the inside is flawless and built to last. Great collar, great sleeves, great look and feel. Rock-Ola may not be the satin jacket for you, but a satin jacket sure certainly be in your future.
