I was very pleased to receive the caps that I ordered for Christmas. Their quality of construction was excellent and I was excited to ship them to my sons. I am patiently awaiting the Houston Buffalo cap that seems to be very popular.
This is a gorgeous hat. It's got the same build quality as their wool hats but is much lighter weight and has a stiffer, more conventional bill. It's got a nice leather strap and metal clasp that's big enough to where it's not hanging on for dear life on my 7 3/4 head, which is really rare for an adjustable hat. The vent holes are bigger than their wool hats and have metal grommets. It also seems to cover more of my head, ie a tiny bit closer to my ears, than most other adjustable hats, making it feel more secure and more of a premium item. I expect this hat to last for a long long time. The yellow is striking and of course I'm a sucker for anything with Texas on it. Gonna get a few more of these cotton hats before they are all gone. Ebbets, if you're listening, you should make these a permanent offering and expand the designs so people can wear your hats comfortably in the summer!
