History: The Kicks were born when the former Denver Dynamos moved to the Twin Cities for the 1979 season. They also played Glasgow Rangers to a 2-2 draw their first season in a "friendly" match. Home games were played at Metropolitan Stadium, home of the Twins and Vikings.
