History: Babe Ruth’s only year in the minors was 1914. He started the season in Baltimore, but the Boston Red Sox acquired his services for what was then the princely sum of $20,000, and soon sent him to their Providence affiliate. George Herman Ruth (still seen as a pitcher) was brought up to the Red Sox in September, and the rest, as they say, is history. Short-visor cap typical of the era.

Love these hats. Quality products! I love the soft brim and short brim style. Only problem is now I want them all.
Top quality - Real deal!
It fits just as it should, is made extremely well, and looks like the good ol' days of baseball! The visor is soft, so be aware of that (I like it). Should definitely be an eye catcher at the ballpark!
Love this cap
If fits. It appears well made. It certainly looks like the original. Thank you Ebbets Field!
