History: Bobby Layne ended his remarkable Hall of Fame 15 year career winning 7 of 11 games as a quarterback for the Pittsburgh Steelers in 1962. He is a member of the NFL 1950s All-Decade team, a 3x NFL Champion (Detroit Lions) and a 6x Pro Bowl selection. His Detroit Lions #22 is retired. Layne is also a member of the College Football Hall of Fame and his Texas Longhorns #22 is retired.
