History: As a charter member of the 1960 Buffalo Bills, linebacker Archie Matsos was one of 4 defensive Buffalo starters to be chosen to the First Team AFL All-Pro squad. He led the team with 8 interceptions that season and followed up with 2 more consecutive Pro Bowls for Buffalo before being traded to the Oakland Raiders in 1963. That year, Matsos won best defensive player honors in the AFL All-Star game.
