History: The award given to the outstanding receiver every year in College Football is named after Fred Biletnikoff, the first Florida State University consensus All-American in the sport. Biletnikoff parlayed his talent into the pros when he suited up for the Oakland Raiders of the AFL in 1965 and went on to a 14 year Pro Football Hall of Fame career. He was the MVP of Super Bowl XI and made "Stickum" famous.
