Washington Redskins 1951 Authentic Jacket
History: "The Little General" Eddie LeBaron had some very big shoes to fill at the quarterback position with the career of future Pro Football Hall of Famer "Slingin'" Sammy Baugh winding down in 1952 (Baugh led the Redskins to the NFL Championship game 5 times during his career and 2 titles in 1937 & 1942). LeBaron responded by winning Rookie of the Year honors in 1952 and 3 Prow Bowl appearances in the 1950s. LeBaron finished his career as a member of the Dallas Cowboys and enshrinement in the Pro Football Hall of Fame. The Washington Redskins are currently members of the NFC Eastern Division and play their home games in FedEx Field, Landover, Maryland.
