History: Though the Grays played home games at Pittsburgh’s Forbes Field, they took their name from the small suburb of Homestead, Pennsylvania. After playing as an independent club for a few season prior, the Grays joined the Negro National League in 1935 and featured star first baseman Buck Leonard. A thirteen-time Negro League All Star, Leonard was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1972.

As a descendant of Rube Foster, I was thoroughly impressed with the quality and look of the jersey and extremely pleased with the customer service while purchasing my jerseys. I received so many great comments from people that attended the 100 year anniversary events that I spoke at and I referred them to your website. I can't wait to order some more for my future events. Thanks. Doug Foster
I really love the quality of this jersey. Far exceeded my expectations. Totally worth the wait. Going to see what else I can order from here!
Love this jersey.
