League: Collegiate Baseball
History: The San Diego Toreros finished their 12th season of baseball in school history with a record of 21-15-3. They were led by team Captain and Most Valuable Player, John Wathan. Wathan batted a sizzling .430 for the 1969 campaign. He would go on to a successful ten year career with the Kansas City Royals as a catcher before being named their Manager in 1987. The Toreros are currently members of the West Coast Conference and play their games at Fowler Park, San Diego, California.
