League: Collegiate Football
History: The 1940 Columbia Lions frosh football team featured a highly recruited freshman by the name of Jack Kerouac who broke his leg along with his dream of being a professional athlete in just his second game. Jack would go on to become a world famous novelist and poet known for works such as 'The Town and the City,' and 'On the Road." The Columbia Lions are the third oldest collegiate football team in the country and they played the very first interstate game ever when they faced Rutgers University in 1870. The Columbia Lions are currently members of the Ivy League and play their home games in Robert K. Kraft Field at Lawrence A. Wein Stadium, New York, New York.
Please note: Within the wool yarns, there may be some slight color variations. This is an inherent trait of the authentic wool we use. This should not be considered a flaw, but like the original garment, merely part of its charm.
