History: In what was USF's first season since the end of World War II, there was produced the finest nine to ever represent the Green and Gold. Led by pitcher Con Dempsey and centerfielder Paul Schramka, the Dons finished the season with an 8-1 record.

Paying Tribute to the '51 Dons
In 1951, the USF football team fielded an undefeated squad with three future hall-of-famers. They were invited to several prestigious bowl games, but refused to go because they would have had to leave their African-American players (including HOF RB Ollie Matson) behind in accordance with segregation. The program never had much funding, and folded after the 1951 season, leaving a legacy of camaraderie and adherence to principles that should serve as a valuable lesson to us all. While this is ostensibly a USF baseball cap, I don't think Ebbets will complain if I wear it as a tribute to the '51 Dons.
I love repping the throwback hat at USF basketball games. Fits comfortably and looks amazing.
One of my favorites
One of my favorites of the Ebbets designs. Colors pop, excellently made, highly recommend.
