League: Collegiate Baseball

History: The University of North Carolina Greensboro Spartans baseball team began play in 1991 posting a record of 9-33 under Coach Mike Gaski. It did not take long for them to acclimate as they won their first regular season conference championship in 1994 with a record of 39-18 and then again in 1997, 1998 and as recently as 2018. Gaski coached from 1991-2012 and ended up with a career record of 655-540-1. He was a 2x Big South Coach of the Year and 2x Southern Coach of the Year. They Spartans are members of the Southern Conference (SoCon) and the team of today play their home games at UNCG Baseball Stadium, Greensboro, North Carolina.
