Southern University 1959 Home Jersey
1$235.00
History: In 1959, the Southern University Jaguars won the NAIA College World Series. This distinction made them the first and only HBCU baseball team to win a national title at any level. They would return in 1960 only to fall in the semi-finals. The Jags were led both years by future Hall of Famer Lou Brock. Southern University is a historically black university (HBCU) located in Baton Rouge, Lousisana. They currently play their home games at Lee-Hines field and are members of the Western Division of the Southwestern Athletic Conference. We are Southern!
