History: There were a few bright spots for the 4-16 1938 Huskies. Best performances during the season came from Al Plummer, dependable infielder, and sophomore chucker Warren Sierer. Plummer was a long-distance slugger and finished up the season with a .308 batting average. He was awarded the Torrance Inspirational Award and upon graduation signed with the Los Angeles professional club. The University of Washington Huskies are currently members of the Pac-12 Conference and play their home games on Chaffey Field at Husky Ballpark, Seattle, Washington.
