League: Collegiate Baseball
History: Led by team pitching ace Dick Nen, the Cal State Long Beach 49ers posted a winning season (20-14) in 1960. Nen would become the first 49er to reach the Major Leagues since the team began play in 1954. The 49ers have been one of the most consistent winning teams in College Baseball over the years capturing 12 Conference Championships with at least one in each decade since 1960 and 4 College World Series appearances. Currently, the "Dirt Bags" (as they are more often referred to due to their gritty play and determination) are currently members of the Big West Conference and play their home games at Blair Field.

Our caps faithfully replicate historic professional baseball caps from 1900 to 1970 and fit differently than modern caps. Try wrapping a piece of string around your head where a cap would naturally fit and then measure the string to find your size.

Measuring Guide
We offer three kinds of ballcap visors:
Pre-1940 ballcaps were made with soft visors so players could fold them up and put them in their back pockets. Later visors were done in standard (stiff visor) or short (also a soft visor). Check the product details to see which type of visor each cap has.
