History: Another strong immigrant club, New York Hakoah was formed by Jewish immigrants from Europe, and named after the original Hakoah Jewish sports club of Vienna. Hungarian Holocaust survivor and soccer legend Bela Guttman led the Hakoah club to the National Challenge Cup victory in 1929. Guttman went on to manage professional soccer clubs in Europe and South America, and is considered one of the greatest soccer managers of all time.
We recommend washing in a gentle cycle and laying flat to dry in order to preserve the felt work.
