Chicago American Giants 1919 Home Jersey
History: Rube Foster was one of black baseball's towering figures, as a player, manager, team owner, and league organizer. 1919 was the American Giants' last year as an independent team. Foster started the first Negro National League the following season. The 1919 Chicago uniforms were made from a rare cross-hatch pinstripe fabric, which we have re-created in our woolen mill.
