It is a lovely hat. Sometimes I take it off just to admire the quality— the wool, the leather, the satin. I would love to see more caps with this '8-panel', 'short visor' combination, authentic or not. This is currently the only one on the site.
These hats are unique, and the quality and detail is unmatched.
Great cap, looks really good, cheaper to buy from US store and have delivered to the UK than buying from UK Ebbets Field. Utter madness!!!
I bought the 8-panel Chicago Whales hat in adjustable. Absolutely perfect. Now thanks to EFF, my dozens of other hats have now been kicked to the curb; and while I'm lamenting the displacement, I'm excited about this new chapter in my ever-evolving style. I owned a hat that took on a version of this style by way of a mischievous and serendipitous cycle through the wash. The hat, which sat shallow on the head, had its feeble brim pulverized, rendering it soft and flexible. I loved that hat, but the manner in which it took on those beloved properties made it an allergy nightmare. I couldn't wear it without at some point suffering through itchy, hot ears and sneezing fits. I was forced to stow it away permanently, to join my other too-worn-to-wear sui generis sartorial legends. I feel that I may finally part with it. I love everything about the fit and feel of the Whales cap: its historicity and its story; its authenticity and its creation native to the U.S. I believe in the company responsible for its reproduction, their philosophy and their professionalism. Thank you, EFF!
This hat is perfect
