History: Senior second baseman, Jim Briggs, would go on to Coach the Ephs Baseball team to 216 wins, and three "Little Three" titles 14 years after playing in his final game for Williams College in 1960. The "Little Three" consists of Amherst College (Mass) Wesleyan University (CT), and Williams College (Mass). The Williams College "Ephs" are named after the school's founder, Ephraim Williams.
