Description: Authentic reproduction of the original 1951 Albuquerque Dukes Ballcap. Hand-sewn from genuine wool baseball cloth. This cap is built to last a lifetime.

League: West Texas-New Mexico League

History: The first Albuquerque Dukes professional team played in 1915 as part of the Rio Grande league. In '51 the Dukes finished a strong second under manager Hershel Martin. Pitcher Jesse Priest led the league with a 19-4 records and a 3.15 ERA. Priest married his sweetheart Barbara Wages at the Dukes' home park, Tingley Field in July, 1952. After the ceremony Priest threw a 16-1 victory over the Pampa Oilers.
