Pensacola Dons 1959 Home Jersey
History: Steve Dalkowski is not a household name, yet he was possibly the fastest pitcher in the history of the game. Dalkowski routinely threw over 100 miles per hour (though radar guns did not exist at the time), yet his only major league appearance was in an exhibition game with the Baltimore Orioles, where he struck out the side. Prone to wildness on the field and erratic behavior off it, he played on nine different minor league clubs, including Pensacola, before his career was shut down by injury in the mid 1960s.
